Thanks to a generous gift from Gertrud Fischbacher-Labhardt, the last private owner of the estate, Villa St. Charles Hall became the property of the private foundation “St. Charles Hall Foundation Paul and Gertrud Fischbacher-Labhardt ”.

The purpose of the Foundation is to “preserve the property and its facilities for the benefit of the public” as well as for cultural and other events. In addition, the foundation is responsible for the maintenance and operation of the property.

The members of the Board of Trustees are elected by the Lucerne Government Council, which is represented by a member of the Board of Trustees.
